Summer events at Exhibition Center will have ‘Entertainment Town’

Qatar Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (QTEA) will organise a series of summer events called “Entertainment Town”, at the Doha Exhibition Center from July 5. The activities will continue until August 15. The “Entertainment Town” is designed as a real fun town boasting various activities for kids and families in one convenient location. In collaboration with SEQLA Organising & Building Exhibitions Conferences Company, artists coming from Europe, Asia and India will perform live shows, such as plays for kids, acrobatic shows, and magic acts. Customs characters will entertain young kids, while puppets show will make famous characters revive. Leisure activities will enable children to enjoy and exercise while making different rides, organised for children from 3 to 14 years old. Extreme rides will be organised on the outskirts of the Doha Exhibition centre to thrill youngsters. Additional attractions will include Skills game, electronic games and other challenging fun activities. Restaurant and cafes will be set up at the“Entertainment Town”, while commercial shops will offer goods to satisfy everyone. Speaking during a press conference, Lahdan Al Mohannadi, Head of organising Local Exhibitions, explained: “The entertainment town will provide families, and most especially children in their summer holidays with a culture –rich, educational and fun packed vacation.
