Strong winds are expected on Wednesday afternoon in the central and western parts of Qatar, the Met office has said.
Winds with speeds of 8-15 knot (kt) are forecast in inshore areas, which may increase to 12-22kt during the day and then drop to below 8kt by night. In offshore areas, winds ranging from 5 to 15kt are expected, going up to 20kt in the north.
It will be hot during the day in inshore areas, with slight to blowing dust in some places as well as some scattered clouds, according to the weather office. Offshore areas will experience slight dust, along with some clouds and hazy conditions by night.
Doha is likely to be among the hottest places in the country, with the maximum temperature reaching 42 degrees Celsius.
