Thunderstorms accompanied by strong wind and scattered rain have been forecast for Qatar on Sunday.

Visibility will be poor and the sea will be turbulent, the weather office said in a statement on Saturday.

The sky will be partly cloudy. The minimum temperature in Doha will be 18 degrees while the maximum will be 24.

Dukhan and Abu Samra are expected to be colder with the mercury plunging to 14 degrees at both the places, the release issued by the Qatar Meteorolgy Department at the Civil Aviation Authority said.
