Stenden University Qatar has welcomed 140 freshmen, from 24 nationalities, including 56 Qataris at its orientation week. The varsity specialises in undergraduate studies such as International Hospitality Management, International Tourism Management, International Business and Marketing Studies and the Academic Bridge Programme. The bachelor’s programmes are accredited by the Dutch Government and the university is recognised by the Supreme Education Council in Qatar. The curriculum, based on the Problem Based Learning concept, is well balanced between theory and practice to ensure that the graduates are capable to face any obstacles they might meet in real life working environments.
