‘Stars of Science’, a Pan-Arab innovation contest on TV initiated by the Qatar Foundation, kicked off recently with a highly-anticipated first prime time episode, beamed to millions of Arab homes. In a fast-paced rhythm, the audience has been transported to Doha, Tunis, Alexandria and Beirut, where 100 hopeful applicants, short listed from among 5,600, tried to impress the jury with their innovative projects.
