STARLINK LAUNCH BRAND NEW WEBSITE COMPLETE WITH HASSLE FREE HOME DELIVERY SERVICE
Monday 20th December 2010, Doha, Qatar – Starlink, Qatar’s premium communications and media retail and logistics business, has given its website, www.starlinkworld.com, a complete overhaul. The revamped website not only offers more informative content and a range of useful features, but also introduces a fantastic new home delivery service.
For the first time ever, Starlink customers will be able to visit the website, order what they want online and then arrange for their purchased items to be delivered at a time, and to a place, that is convenient for them. A whole range of products and services, from handsets and accessories to television packages and tablets, can be bought and paid for on the new site using a credit card and customers can even recharge mobiles from outside of Qatar.
A majority of products and services that can be bought in-store will now also be available online including Pay Monthly Mobile Services and Hala Prepay Services from Qtel, television packages from leading network providers, OSN, Al Jazeera and Mozaic as well as the must-have-handsets of the moment such as the Blackberry Torch and the iPhone 4.
Following completion of the online transaction, customer care agents will then contact the customer directly to arrange the most suitable time for the delivery to take place, or, if preferred, it is possible to collect the purchased items from a Starlink shop.
Customers can also utilise the new delivery facility to request that their damaged handsets be collected, taken to the Starlink repair centre on Al Nasser Street, and then delivered back to them when fixed.
In addition to the home delivery service, website users will be able to browse through detailed product information on all the latest, and most popular handsets , read up on all the television packages available at Starlink, recharge prepay mobile phones, set up pay monthly accounts, find a local Starlink shop and check out all the latest promotions. Plus, for customers who are unable to decide on which mobile phone to go for, the online technical features comparison tool will prove invaluable.
