The maximum speed on the February 22nd Street is set to be reverted to 100km/h from the current 80km/h within a few days, local Arabic daily Arrayah said on Sunday quoting the Traffic Department.
The speed limit was reduced on an experimental basis to see if accidents could be curtailed.
However, the Advisory Council recently asked the Traffic Department to restore the speed limit to 100km/h as the road is considered one of the expressways of Doha.
