H.E. Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of Spain Abdullah bin Ibrahim Al Hamar met with Spanish adventurer Santiago Sanchez who is planning to reach Doha on foot from Madrid to attend the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™.

H.E. the Ambassador wished Sanchez luck in his journey.
Sanchez's 6,800 km journey is expected to take 11 months to reach Doha. During his stopovers in the countries he will pass through, he will plant trees as contribution to increasing awareness of the importance of preserving the environment and the need to move more towards a green economy.
