In the context of supporting charitable causes, a team of multinational motorcyclists: “Soul Riders”, paraded The Pearl-Qatar last Saturday as part of their official visit to the State of Qatar where they participated in the 2nd Charity GCC Bike Show which was held the same week at Aspire Zone.

With its scenic views and extensive road network, The Pearl-Qatar witnessed powerful revving of motorbikes ranging from vintage and custom ones to the latest models. The tour which started with the bikers convening at the mosque parking adjacent to The Pearl’s main entrance, was followed by the convoy exploring the Island through highways and side roads linking the Island’s ten different residential precincts.

Qatari, GCC and international bikers participated, expressing their admiration for Qatar’s humanitarian work and charitable initiatives. The Pearl-Qatar’s selection to host the tour highlights the Island’s perfect location to rally people around this motorbike showcase and to express the bikers’ gratitude to Qatar’s diverse multicultural community, perfectly represented at The Pearl-Qatar.

Proceeds from this original fundraising campaign will go to support Qatar Charity’s philanthropic programs for which The Pearl-Qatar and its master developer United Development Company (UDC), have been avid supporters throughout the years, while continuing to partner with the association as it expands its circle of international partners and the scope of its humanitarian charity work.

Besides riding motorbikes within the international legal and ethical parameters, “Soul Riders” stress the humanitarian dimension of their international affiliation, also aimed at promoting the spirit of cooperation and integration with communities.

“Soul Riders” in Qatar boasts 117 professional Qatari members of varied ages. While they are all highly educated, many of those members hold prominent positions in the public and private sector and are therefore aware and supportive of Qatar’s developmental goals and aspirations.
