In appreciation and gratitude to H.H. the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani who has placed great importance on consolidating the Shura traditions in the country, the Shura Council announced on 24 October 2022 the new designation of its main hall to be named "Tamim bin Hamad Hall", praising His Highness's support to the Shura Council.
The new designation coincides with the inauguration of the new building that will embrace the council's works starting from the next session.
The Amiri Diwan has announced that H.H. the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani will be inaugurating the newly named hall on 25 October 2022. On this occasion, His Highness will deliver a speech in which he will address the state's local policies and future priorities in various sectors, in addition to Qatar's positions on various regional and international issues.
