Qatar received scattered drizzles across the country yesterday. The intermittent drizzle that lasted from five to ten minutes brought cheers to the people. The sky was overcast since morning. The south-easterly wind brought rains to many areas in the outskirts early morning. However, the city received the rains only by noon. The weathermen forecast a similar weather today as well. They said the weather would be partly cloudy with a weak chance for light scattered rain followed by dusty wind today. The MET office has warned of a fresh north-east wind and high sea this afternoon. The south-east wind will lash at a speed of 5-15 knots that would later transform into northwest and blow at a speed of 1-20 knots and would further gather strength to lash at a speed of 28 knots.
