What do we do when we need a change? Whether it’s a new wardrobe, that dream vacation, or a home makeover – we head online to find our inspiration. And, sometimes, we don’t even need to power up our laptop; instead we just flip to our phones – because, let’s face it there’s an app for everything now!

IKEA Qatar is jumping into the mix with its new IKEA Catalogue app, now available on iTunes and Google Play. Launched in August 2017 (just last month!) users can dive right in to explore the new catalogue collections with its easy-to-navigate layout and a home page that showcases the newest items, plus tips for your home décor.

Like an item or dream-room image? Double tap and add it to your favourites! Explore room layouts by in 360 degree 3-D. Scroll through their inspiration pages to find the designs, patterns, furniture, and elements that draw you in…plus, there’s even a video section where you can watch clips of the IKEA story, it’s ethos, and impact.

One feature we really found useful was its intuitive research section. You can search for information on catalogue items by function, colour, or price range – plus, the app has an easy-access shopping list and section to view your purchase history so you can easily keep track of your order.

The theme of this year’s catalogue is all about the living room as the heart of the home. So expect to see lots of new collections that hero this space. We especially love the new VIMLE sofa and the colour palette for 2018 is all about big, bold shades that are inviting and warm – much like a home itself should be!
