The Mall of Qatar Gift Card is a prepaid card powered by Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB). It is available in selected denominations from QAR 100 to 5000, and it can be used at all Mall of Qatar stores, restaurants, kiosks and entertainment centers – even at the Mall’s luxury AlRayyan Hotel.
The Mall of Qatar believes its Gift Card represents the perfect gift solution, taking the worry out of gift giving by enabling the recipient to make their own choice from any Mall outlet.

Gift Cards can be purchased at Customer Service Desks and provide a convenient payment method, secured by a chip and 4-digit security code. Cardholders can even check their remaining balance at any ATM.
To celebrate the launch of the gift card, Mall of Qatar is offering this amazing customer promotion. From 31st May to 17th June, early-bird purchasers will enjoy a ‘Shop & Get’ reward, by receiving an additional Gift Card free, (preloaded with QAR 100) for every QAR 500 that they spend on Gift Cards.
And across the Mall, a ‘Shop & Win’ promotion will give anyone who spends QAR 300 at any of the retailers to enter an exciting draw for a chance to win a jackpot Gift Card, preloaded with QAR 100,000. As Stuart Elder, Mall of Qatar CEO, states:

Is the Gift Card a credit card?
No, it is a prepaid card.
What is the value of Gift Card that I can purchase?
You can purchase Gift Cards which are preloaded with values of QR 100, QR 250, QR 500, QR 1000, QR 2,500 and QR 5,000.
What is my Security Code?
Your Security Code is a four-digit number printed on the inside of the Gift Card package. You will need the Security Code to authorize payments for any purchase that you make and to check remaining balance on ATM.
Please take care not to divulge this to anyone.
Can I customize my Security Code?
Yes. You can change the given Security Code at any QIB ATM. We encourage you to customize your Security Code at the earliest to avoid loss of funds on the Gift Card.
Can I recover my Security Code?
No. If lost or forgotten, the Security Code cannot be retrieved.
Do I need to activate my Gift Card?
No, your Gift Card was activated when it was purchased at Mall of Qatar.
How can I check my balance on the Gift Card?
You can check your balance at any time on any ATM.
Can I use my Gift Card to withdraw cash at the ATM?
No, you can't use your Gift Card at an ATM to withdraw cash or do any cash advance transactions.
Can I use the Gift Card outside of Qatar or for Online transactions?
The Gift Card cannot be used outside of Qatar or to make Online transactions.
What do I do when I have spent all my credit?
Once you've spent all the money on your Gift Card, simply cut the card in half and throw it away.
Can I use my Gift Card and another credit / debit card together to pay for a transaction?
Yes, if you know how much is left on your Gift Card. If you don't tell the cashier or merchant and try to make a purchase for more than the amount on the l Gift Card, the transaction will be declined because you don't have enough money on your Gift Card to make the purchase.
Is there a limit to how much credit can be loaded on the Gift Card?
Yes. The minimum value that can be loaded is QR 100 and the maximum value is QR 5,000. The amount is determined at the time of purchase, and once the credit is spent, it can't be re-loaded.
Does the recipient need to sign an agreement?
No, the purchaser agrees to the terms and conditions of the Gift Card by purchasing the Gift Card. The full Terms and Conditions regarding use of the Gift Card can be viewed on this website. The recipient accepts the Terms and Conditions by using the Gift Card.
Will the recipient of the Gift Card receive a statement?
No statement will be sent out. Gift Card receivers can view their balance on any ATM.
What if I need to return an item?
Returns are at the discretion of the merchant/store who sold you the item. Each merchant/store has its own return policies and will handle the returns in the same way as any other transaction. They may credit your Gift Card, provide a cash refund or give store credit
What if a purchase is denied?
This may happen if, for example, the Gift Card's available balance is less than the purchase amount. You may inform the merchant of the remaining balance on the Gift Card and use another form of payment to pay the difference (subject to the policy of the merchant).
Does the Gift Card have an expiry date?
Yes, the expiry date of your Gift Card is embossed on the front of the card.
Can I reload my Gift Card?
No, the card can't be reloaded, but you can purchase another card any Mall of Qatar customer service desk.
Can a Gift Card be given to someone else, other than the original recipient?
To help eliminate fraud the person using the Gift Card must be the person whose signature is on the back of the Gift Card.
What happens if there are still funds on my Gift Card when it expires?
We encourage you to use the entire gift amount before the Gift Card expires. Upon expiry after the end of month 24, the Gift Card will become invalid for use, cannot be reactivated and all amounts remaining on the Gift Card will be given to a charity in accordance with principles of Islamic Sharia’a.
What happens if my Gift Card is damaged, lost or stolen?
If the Gift Card is damaged, lost or stolen, you will lose any funds held on the prepaid gift card, it cannot be replaced if damaged, lost or stolen.
