Sheraton Doha has new hi-tech fitness equipment at the hotel’s Health and Recreation Centre’s newly constructed extension and they are generating much interest from members and guests. The gym also recently reopened to the public. “Members were really appreciative of the new layout of the gym which provides spacious area for activities,” said Yves Tarabout, Executive Assistant Manager, Sales, Marketing, and Front Office. “But it was the smoother, easier to use new machines which attracted most comment. Much of the equipment is state-of-the-art versions of what the gym has already had on offer, but we have also introduced some revolutionary new pieces.” All members are introduced to the new equipment by professional trainers, and new members are taken through the entire range of equipment and advised on a program such as the Powerplate. The cost of membership depends on use of the facilities, circumstances and age. The cost can be varied by concessions, which apply to singles, couples, or families. Prospective members should visit their Sheraton Health & Recreation Center or Sales & Marketing Office and discuss the cost of membership with an executive. “Sheraton Doha Resort & Convention Hotel takes much concern in the health and fitness of the members and guests, thus, providing them conducive environment and high-quality trainings and services.” said Gerhard Foltin, General Manager. “If you’re not already a member, there has never been a better time to join the Sheraton’s HRC fitness revolution. Because life is better when shared.” http://thepeninsulaqatar.com/Display_news.asp?section=Local_News&subsection=Qatar+News&month=October2009&file=Local_News2009100405523.xml
