H.E. Minister of Education and Higher Education Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi issued Monday, 10 January 2022, a ministerial decision regarding the annual calendar of schools for the 2022-2023 academic year.
In accordance with the provisions of the decision, the staff will start work for the 2022-2023 academic year at schools on 14 August 2022 and students will begin school on 16 August 2022, while the second semester will start on 25 December 2022.
As per the Academic Calendar for 2022-2023 issued by the Minister of Education, vacation for schools will start on 20 November 2022 and will end on 22 December 2022.
FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ is scheduled to take place from 21 November to 18 December 2022.
The decision also specified the start and end date of all events, programs, and activities, including exams and vacations and the beginning and end of each semester.
The ministry has published the annual calendar of schools for the 2022-2023 academic year on its official website www.edu.gov.qa.
