The Qatar Meteorology Department announced in its daily weather report on Twitter that there is a chance of scattered rain that may be thundery in some areas in Qatar, accompanied by strong wind at times and high waves at intermittent periods from the evening of 16 July 2021 until Monday, 19 July 2021.

Offshore, will be partly cloudy to cloudy with a chance of scattered rain may be thundery at times, the report added, warning of strong wind and high sea, thundery rain at places, as per the Qatar Meteorology Department.

Wind inshore will be northeasterly to southeasterly at a speed of 07 to 17 knots reaching to 25 knots with thundery rain.

Offshore, it will be southeasterly to easterly at a speed of 08 to 18 knots, reaching to 28 knots at places during thundery rain.

Visibility will be 04 to 09 kilometers or 03 kilometers or less at places during thundery rain.

Sea state inshore will be 1 to 3 feet surging to 5 feet at times. Offshore, it will be 3 to 6 feet surging to 9 feet at places during thundery rain. The Qatar Meteorology Department has also advised people to avoid sea activities.
