After six days of stylish shows and presentations, the curtain’s gone down on Lagoona Mall Fashion Week’s fourth edition. ILQ was there, paying attention to the trends and, well, you could say that joy was oozing from every stitch and seam this season.
The Spring/Summer collections’ catwalk brands included Supertrash, Liu-Jo, The Kooples, Porsche Design, Juicy Couture, Vilebrequin, Versace Collection, Karen Millen, Blugirl Blumarine, Patrizia Pepe, DKNY, Elisabetta Franchi, Adolfo Dominquez and Pronovias. From daily casual looks, to the magic of wedding dresses and couture gowns, overall, this is a season where you make the rules.

Stripes and florals, two trusty pillars of the summer print line-up got splashes of yellow, scarlet, and great greens. While some of the edgiest of all the neutrals – khaki and white – fitted right in with fall’s rich hues and textures. Finally, from blush to fuchsia, pink is definitely the colour everyone is going to want in their wardrobe this season.
Other highlights included statement frills, oversized outerwear, lamé, lace, embroidery, transparent fabrics, structured dresses, and minimalistic outfits coming together to take you from fall to summer. Be prepared to see a bunch of beautiful options on the racks this season, and incorporate what fits best into your style!
