The Ministry of Public Works Authority - Ashghal announced in a series of tweets the multiple road closures to be expected on Friday, 25 March 2022.
Ashghal announced an 8 hour long overnight closure on Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor in Abu Hamour to traffic coming from Hamad International Airport towards Al Waab.

This closure is aimed at installing signage gantries on Friday, 25 March 2022 from 2 am till 10 am in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic. During the closure, the road users coming from Hamad International Airport towards Al Waab must use the service roads and local roads along to reach their destinations.
They also announced the closure of the main tunnel at Al Gassar Interchange on Lusail Road to traffic in both directions for 7 hours on Friday Friday, 25 March 2022 from 1 am till 8 am. Road users can turn onto Al Khafji street to reach their destinations

The partial closure of Onaiza for the southbound lanes from Qasr Al Marmar Intersection towards Al Khaleej Intersection (known as Al Mannai Roundabout) was also announced. This closure will also take place on Friday, 25 March 2022, from 1 am until 10 am and on Saturday corresponding to 26 March 2022 from 1 am till 5 am.
