The Middle Eastern and African tour started from South Africa on April 20 and will visit the Sultanate of Oman, Kuwait, KSA, UAE, Bahrain, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Tunisia, Morocco, Senegal, and Algeria. Each local winner of the 14 stops will qualify to the regional qualifiers to be hosted in Cairo where 16 B-Boys, including 2 Wild Cards, that will be given to Moroccan B-boy Lil Zoo and Algerian B-boy Chakal, will undergo breakdance duals in order to qualify to the world finals in Seoul, South Korea.
Red Bull BC One’s local stop in Qatar is held for the second year in a row in cooperation with Renaissance Hotel. The judging panel will consist of B-boys Lilou, Lamine, and Pelezinho, who will evaluate the candidates based on 3 main factors: technique, innovation, and danceflow. 16 of the best B-boys will be selected on the eve of the event in a pre-qualifying round where around 35 B-boys are expected to participate and the level will be set high.

Duals will take place on a knockdown basis. Therefore, each B-boy is granted two chances in every round to show his skills and moves to hip hop music played by DJ Mr. Tee.
Last season was considered the most successful ever in the history of Red Bull BC One as more than 60 local qualifiers were organized in 52 countries, with more than 1000 B-boys participating. French B-boy Mounir won the 2012 Championship in Rio de Janeiro after beating B-boy Differ from South Korea in the final round.
