A sum of QR1.4m was donated by the RasGas Company Limited (RasGas) to the Qatar Paralympic Committee (QPC) and the Qatar Cultural and Social Centre for the Deaf (QCSCD) on Tuesday. The funds were raised during the Company’s eight annual Charity Gala Dinner and related golf tournament which took place earlier this year. The donations are a result of the generosity of RasGas’ shareholders, customers, suppliers and employees. The proceeds were handed over by RasGas Chief Executive Officer, Hamad Rashid Al Mohannadi in a formal ceremony held at the Company’s headquarters. “RasGas is very pleased to be able to bring together so many members of our community to provide support to deserving charitable causes in Qatar. Our annual Charity Gala dinner is a main contributor to the Company’s charity fund, Sunduk Al Kheir and is integral to our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programme,” said Al Mohannadi.
