Ramadan timings
All emergency and inpatient services across HMC's network of hospitals will continue to operate as normal, 24-hours a day, seven days a week.
The changes to operating hours affect some services delivered remotely via the national COVID-19 helpline number: 16000.
COVID-19 helpline during Ramadan will operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
HMC Urgent Consultation and Mental Health Helpline during Ramadan will operate from 8 am to 1 pm and 8 pm to 1 am, from Saturday to Thursday, and from 8 am to 1 pm on Fridays.
To access the service: call 16000, select language, select 3 for HMC, then select 1 for HMC Urgent Consultation.
HMC Pharmacy Medication Delivery will operate during Ramadan from 8 am to 2 pm, Saturday to Thursday (closed on Fridays).
All Emergency Departments, Pediatric Emergency Departments, and inpatient services across HMC's network of hospitals will continue to operate as normal, 24-hours a day, seven days a week.
Blood Donor Center next to Hamad General Hospital will operate from Sunday to Thursday from 8 am to 1 pm and 6 pm to 12 midnight. While the New Blood Donor Center opposite Outpatient Department next to Surgical Specialty Center will operate from 6 pm to 12 midnight, Sunday to Thursday.
Blood Donor Center at Al Wakra Hospital will operate from 8 pm to 12 midnight, Sunday to Thursday. Blood Donor Center at Al Obaib Health Center will operate from 8 pm to 12 midnight, Sunday to Thursday.
Nesma'ak Customer Service helpline, 16060, to operate from 7 am to 10 pm Sunday to Thursday and 10 am to 4 pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
Working Hours of Medical Commission, Birth Registration During Ramadan
The Medical Commission will be open for the public during the month of Ramadan from 9 AM to 1 PM during the official working days, as a number of necessary organizational measures were taken, including organizing the appointments registered in the websites of MOPH and "Hukoomi" to avoid crowds while committing to implementing all preventive measures.
24/7 virtual healthcare service
Outpatients are not allowed unless an emergency. However, virtual healthcare services have been developed to ensure the safety of everyone by allowing patients to schedule an appointment with healthcare by dialing 16000 to have a virtual consultation with their healthcare provider, receiving medical advice, sick leave, and get their medicine delivered to their doorstep.
16000 will also continue to provide a 24/7 call center service for all inquiries in relation to the COVID-19.
