The new recruits went through a five-day orientation programme before joining the company. The programme was tailor-made to provide the fresh graduates with comprehensive information and knowledge about all aspects of the workflow at Qatar Rail. It included a presentation, interactions with different departments of the company, a visit to the Lusail site and a screening of the latest informative Qatar Rail documentary.
“As Qatar is rapidly growing in so many arenas, it is important that young Qataris are involved in challenging fields and understand how to run mega projects. Qatar Rail is a great place to have such an experience,” said al-Obeidan.
