Qatar Telecom (Qtel) officially unveiled its 16th outlet at Landmark Mall yesterday — its third one-stop shop offering a broad range of consumer landline, mobile, broadband and entertainment services. The other two leading-edge ‘concept stores’ are located at Al Wakra and Villaggio mall. “Qtel has always put the customer experience at the centre of its operations, and the addition of this new Landmark Mall customer service centre, with its spacious and contemporary interior, will make an immediate impression on all who visit it. For Qtel, it’s not just about offering our customers more shops — it’s about offering our customers an improved retail experience,” said Waleed Al Sayed, Customer Service Executive Director, Qtel. Spread over more than 1,000 square metres, Landmark’s Qtel Service Centre has been designed to offer a striking visual statement to visitors. It deploys a broad range of colours and branding to create a unique atmosphere. Dedicated areas offer specific services for Qatar residents, including special areas for high-speed Internet access, Mozaic TV+ services, and a wide range of mobile communications offerings. The Landmark Mall service centre will display some of the latest mobile phone devices available in the region, and will be used to preview many of the newest models coming to the market this year. The Service Centre also has a fully-staffed Customer Helpdesk, where residents can submit inquiries and applications, as well as purchase SIM cards and top-ups for HALA Pay As You Talk and Shahry-Pay Monthly services. “Qtel customers have come to expect the very best and latest technology and services from us, so we are constantly being measured on our ability to deliver these in retail outlets that cater to the needs and preferences of our growing number of valued customers,” said Al Sayed. http://thepeninsulaqatar.com/Display_news.asp?section=Local%5FNews&subsection=Qatar+News&month=March2009&file=Local_News200903155232.xml
