Every new customer of Qtel’s HALA Pay As You Talk will receive QR20 free credit to use over the summer if they subscribe from today.
As well as the introductory QR25 credit in the Hala Starter Pack, customers activating their Hala card before June 15 will get an additional QR20 to use from July 1, all for the same price of QR50.
The bonus summer credit is equally available for existing customers who choose to activate a new SIM during the promotion period, or for new Hala customers.
The new promotion is designed to help people stay in touch with loved ones throughout the hot summer months.
Hala also offers off-peak rates and a wide range of payment and top-up options.
Adel Al Mutawa, Executive Director, Group Communications, Qtel, said: “We designed this Hala promotion for customers looking for a new communication option over the summer, either for themselves or for family members.”
“With the new Hala summer offer, every new customer will get QR 25 worth of credit to use immediately, and an additional QR20 to use from 1 July,” he added.
The Hala Summer offer runs for four weeks starting today. Customers who activate a new Hala account before June 15 are eligible for the initial free credit, 30 days validity and bonus free credit worth QR20 from July 1.
Existing Hala customers still have the chance to benefit from Qtel’s One Year Validity offer, which offers up to 360 days credit validity with every top-up worth QR100 or more and which runs until end of this month.
