As part of its ongoing ‘Broadband Anywhere’ initiative, Qtel is introducing into the Qatar market a new USB modem that provides high-speed access to the Internet, a choice of four stylish case designs and a free, introductory offer accessory pack. The Qtel 888 USB Modem offers customers download speeds of up to 7.2Mbps and provides simple “plug-and-play” technology which allows instant accessibility to the Internet across the country. The Qtel 888 USB modem is considered one of the most user-friendly devices available, and – for a limited time only – Qtel is slashing the price by QR230, making it an extremely affordable QR549 (previously QR779). The modem comes with a choice of four personalised “skin” designs, and, for a limited time only, each purchase comes with a cool accessory pack, that includes a travel pouch, extension chord, laptop clip and neck lanyard. The modem lets customers access the Internet through a network that covers all of Doha, and virtually all inhabited regions across Qatar, meaning people can surf the web wherever they are. Qatar has long benefited from one of the most advanced mobile broadband networks in the region. With a high-tech USB device - such as Qtel’s 888 modem - and a Data-Only SIM card, people are able to surf and download games, movies, music and applications wherever they are in the country. Qtel’s Mobile Broadband Unlimited price plan provides customers with a ‘no limits’ data bundle at QR 400 per month. There is a one-off QR100 connection fee for new customers. In addition to the Unlimited plan, Qtel offers three other bundles, giving customers a choice that best suits their monthly budget and data download needs. The Qtel 888 USB modem is available at Qtel shops, and participating Premium Dealer outlets.
