As part of its ongoing collaboration with private sector partners to develop tourism offerings and experiences, Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Katara Hospitality to manage Al Enna, a winter camping project in Sealine that will kick off on 1 November and continue until 15 April 2019.
Under the agreement, Katara Hospitality will manage the beach facilities, services, and activities, including cabin rentals, 32 kiosks for food and beverages, and a play area for children. The company will also provide and manage the required human resources, such as security personnel, cleaners, lifeguards, technicians, and others.
Omar al-Jaber, QTA representative and Al Enna Project official spokesperson commented: "While improving services is one of the main objectives of Al Enna project, benefiting from local talents in the hospitality sector is part of QTA's strategy to develop the tourism sector. The partnership between QTA and Katara Hospitality is a long standing strategic that includes joint work on various events and other areas of cooperation."
Commenting on the partnership, General Manager of Sealine Beach, a Murwab Resort, Mr. Nawaf Al Obaidly said: " We are honored to enter this partnership with the Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) for the Al Enna project that aims enhance the overall desert and camping experience through improved services and safety, protecting the environment at Sealine." He said, "Sealine Beach Resort with its years of experience in the hospitality sector, is committed to the success of the project and thereby contribute to the Qatar National Vision 2030 by actively participating in the economic diversification process.
Al Enna project, which seeks to develop the winter camping experience in Sealine region, is supported by various government and private bodies including the Ministry of Municipality and Environment, the Ministry of Interior, the Public Works Authority, The Qatar Olympic Committee, Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation, Batabit (Qatar Centre for Motorcycles), Mawater, and Katara Hospitality.
