Tokyo: The Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of the Emiri Diwan H E Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah met here yesterday with a number of Qatari civil servants who are working at Barzan project. The minister highlighted the importance of the strategic project which he said is one of the most important projects and which aims at supplying Qatari markets with its gas needs. The Deputy Premier also attended a dinner banquet hosted in his honour by Japanese company Tsunamachi Mitsui. The delegation accompanying Al Attiyah also attended the dinner banquet. Prior to the banquet, Minister of Energy and Industry H E Dr Mohammed bin Saleh Al Sada signed a protocol of cooperation in the project study of chemical fertiliser between Qatar Petroleum (QP) and the Japanese Company.QNA The Peninsula
