You may already know about the news that QAWS has not had its lease renewed on the current farmland from which it operates and that it has been asked to leave the area by 1 June 2013. This is obviously a very troubling time for everyone at QAWS with over 300 animals in residence at the shelter however, QAWS is currently in talks with several contacts regarding relocation to a new site and while a solution has not yet been found, QAWS remains hopeful that this will happen. In the meantime, it’s business as usual at QAWS!
