An official Qatari trade delegation is visiting the US for the four-day Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week Show (AAIW) taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada, from today.
US Ambassador to Qatar Joseph LeBaron recently hosted the delegation at his residence. At the pre-departure briefing, the Ambassador stressed that the Qatari trade mission is an example of the strong economic ties between US and Qatar, which bring about benefits and create opportunities for both sides. The mission will help Qatari firms develop American business contacts, solidify business strategies and obtain fresh market information.
"Members of the trade mission expect to do business with US automotive suppliers, and by doing so, they will gain access to the latest and best US products and services," the Ambassador said.
The Qatari trade mission-escorted by the US Embassy's Commercial Service-will explore business opportunities with American suppliers at the AAIW. This is the flagship event for the US automotive aftermarket industry, mobilising over 120,000 professionals and over 3,300 exhibitors.
