Qatari residents can now apply to recruit housemaids or other workers under their personal sponsorship through mobile devices using the Metrash 2 service. The service is only applicable to those who are married and their status is registered on the Ministry of Interior website. According to The Peninsula daily, Brigadier Abdullah Salim Al Ali, director of general directorate of border passports and expatriate affairs, said that the Metrash 2 service will enable Qataris to obtain the approval directly.
