His Excellency Minister of Culture and Sports Salah bin Ghanem Al Ali honoured the Qatari inventors who participated in the 12th International Invention Fair of the Middle East (IIFME), which was held in Kuwait recently, during their meeting yesterday evening.
The Qatari inventors were honoured for their merit and honourable representation of Qatar during the international exhibition, as they won 11 medals amid strong competition, including five golds, five silvers, and one bronze medal, as well as the first prize of the patent office for the Gulf Cooperation Council.
Dr. Ibrahim Al Musalmani won the gold medal with honors and the first prize of the GCC patent office. Khaled Abu Jassum, Ali Salah Al Bohsain, Khaled Al Ansari, Noura Talib Al Marri, and Khulud Zaid Al Qarrah won gold medals.
Nouf Ali Al Obaidli, Souad Mohammad Al Abdullah, Ali Ibrahim Al Farsi, Dr. Reda Hamaila, and Mohammad Maraj won silver medals. Dr. Nasser Al Emadi gained a bronze medal.
