The Film House, a Qatari film, video, photography and multi-media Production Company, won two prestigious awards at The Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards. This festival’s edition, which was founded in 2010 to recognise the world’s finest corporate films, online media and TV documentaries, saw its biggest Qatar representation to date.

The Doha-based film house proudly accepted its awards during an exquisite Awards Gala Dinner attended by more than 270 guests on the 15th October 2015 at the Palm Beach Cannes. The Film House won Silver Dolphins in Best Corporate Film for 'The Master Craftsman’ for Qatar Luxury Group’s Anvil Rooms and Best Non-profit, Corporate Social Responsibility Film for ‘VOICES’, a film highlighting the lives of disabled people in Qatar.

Justin Kramer, Chief Operating Officer, The Film House commented “We are delighted to win these awards in front of our peers in Cannes, a city famous for recognising the very best in film and advertising productions. The Film House was established just three years ago and in line with Qatar’s vision for the industry we aim to help raise the bar in film production. We are driven by the conviction that the art we create must wholly represent our clients’ original intent, whilst also eliciting the strongest possible emotional response from the target market. We look forward to elevating production in Qatar to international levels and attracting international productions to shoot in beautiful, unseen and unused locations across the country.”

'The Master Craftsman’ was created by The Film House to mark the launch of Qatar Luxury Group’s Anvil Rooms restaurant. The standout film was crafted with the look and feel of an international production made in its entirety in Doha - locations, kit and crew.
