The Ministry of Municipality announced on its Twitter account on 1 November 2022 that the Umm Al Seneem park has officially opened in the Al Rayyan Municipality.

The Umm Al Seneem park subsequently received a Guinness World Record for the longest air-conditioned pedestrian & jogging path with a length of 1,143 meters (3,750 feet). Ashghal Qatar, presented by The Supervisory Committee of Beautification of Roads & Public Places in Qatar, announced that they won this merit on 17 October 2022.

This is Ashghal Qatar's 5th project that has been awarded a Guinness World Record.

Public services and facilities in Umm Al Seneem Park

The Umm Al Seneem park includes 88,400sqm of green spaces, 912 trees, 1,135 meters of cycling path, 1,143 meters of airconditioned pedestrian & jogging path, 3 exercising areas prepped with fitness equipment, 2 kids' playing areas, and 40 bicycle stands.

Apart from this, there are also 7 kiosks that offer several products to visitors of the park. There are also 2 car parking available in the park. The park has a capacity of 6,000 people.
