Qatar will celebrate Qatar's Environment Day, on Tuesday which falls on February 26 every year. This year's event is celebrated under the slogan "Our Environment is our Future".
The Ministry of Municipality and Environment will organise three days of activities during which the departments of the environmental affairs will present their activities and efforts in the field of environmental protection, in addition to holding a series of activities and events, educational and awareness competitions and recycling workshops.
The celebration of Qatar's Environment Day comes as part of Qatar's keenness to protect the environment and its natural balance to achieve the comprehensive and sustainable development of present and future generations as one of the cornerstones of Qatar National Vision 2030.
The Ministry of Municipality and Environment invited the public to attend and participate in these three-day events in the cultural district of Katara.
