The Qatar Meteorology Department announced to 21 August 2023 that the temperature in Qatar is expected to rise to 42-48 °C from Tuesday, 22 August 2023 until the upcoming weekend.

تشهد البلاد ارتفاع ملحوظ في درجات الحرارة من نهار يوم غد الثلاثاء ٢٢/ ٨/ ٢٠٢٣ وحتى عطلة نهاية الأسبوع لتتراوح العظمى مابين ٤٢-٤٨ °م في مختلف مناطق البلاد .#قطر

Additionally, it was mentioned that a chance of fog formation is expected during the night until early morning on 22 August 2023, reducing horizonatal visibility to less than 2 km in Southern areas.
