The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Qatar announced on the evening of 29 June that the second shipment of relief aid sent by Qatar has arrived in Afghanistan. This is a follow-up shipment to the previous one sent on 25 June 2022 in cooperation with Qatar Charity.
The shipment contained 13 tons of urgent medical aid provided by the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) and was carried by a Qatar Armed Forces plane.
The relief campaign is in response to the recent earthquakes that hit parts of Khost and Paktika, Afghanistan.
