Qatar’s consumer confidence positive

Consumer confidence in Qatar remains one of the most optimistic in the Middle East for the first half of 2009 despite global and regional economic challenges. While the confidence is slightly lower compared to the last reporting period of H2 2008, overall results show that consumers in Qatar are still optimistic about Regular Income, the Economy and Quality of Life in the six months ahead, revealed the latest MasterCard Worldwide Index of Consumer Confidence.
