Qatar Red Crescent Society successfully completes 27 projects in the Gaza Strip

Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRC) has carried out 27 projects in the Gaza Strip with a total cost of $10m, including 19 projects related to services to the disabled and 8 projects for higher education, the society announced yesterday. The projects, implemented in collaboration with the Palestine Red Crescent Society, were funded by QRC and its strategic partners such as Al Fakhoora campaign and the Islamic Development Bank (within the programme of the Council of the GCC countries for reconstructing Gaza). The projects will be officially inaugurated from June 3 to 5, with the participation of representatives from the Qatar Red Crescent and donors among others. Among the projects to be opened are a $850,000 Al Quds Open University centre in Khan Younis, and clinical rehabilitation to an internal section at Al Amal Hospital in Khan Younis at a cost of $540,000.
