Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) announced in a tweet on 9 August 2022, that they have sent emergency aid worth QR 4 million to help the people of Gaza. The aid is expected to provide for 60,250 people who have been affected by the recent aggression.

The aid provisioning was done in coordination with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and the Palestine Red Crescent Society.

Qatar Red Crescent Society's response began with providing food packages to 30,000 beneficiaries, aiding hospitals to allow them to treat 20,000 people, refurbishing water & sewage systems for the betterment of 10,000 people and rebuilding of 250 homes that have been damaged.
