The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the State of Qatar has allocated 10,000 mobile homes to be transferred to the earthquake-affected areas of Türkiye and Syria as relief efforts.

The mobile homes being provided are furnished with essentials such as beds, tables, chairs, and more.

On the evening of 6 February 2023, H.H. the Amir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani shared a statement via his official Twitter account offering his condolences to those affected by the earthquake and reaffirming the State of Qatar's commitment to providing support and mitigating the effects of this earthquake.

Our condolences to the families of the earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria, and we ask God for a speedy recovery for the injured, and we express our solidarity with the people of the affected areas, and we affirm that the State of Qatar stands with the brotherly peoples of Turkey and Syria and provides all necessary support to mitigate the effects of this earthquake.
