Qatar participates in Muscat International Book Fair

The Qatari participation in the 24th Muscat International Book Fair continues to be very effective as it witnessed a remarkable turnout from the exhibition's visitors, which started on February 21 and continues until March 2.

The Qatari pavilion, held by the Ministry of Culture and Sports, includes many literary, historical, cultural and intellectual publications, which attract visitors to the exhibition. The Ministry of Culture and Sports is keen to reflect the heritage of Qatar and its remarkable cultural momentum.

Director of the Doha International Book Fair Jassem Al Buainain said in remarks on Tuesday that the Qatari participation in this edition of the Muscat International Book Fair is strong and the Ministry of Culture and Sports is keen to present its various publications in addition to the publications of Dar Lusail publishing house.

Al Buainain said that the Qatari pavilion hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Sports was visited by dignitaries who expressed their happiness with Qatari participation, the Qatari pavilion's quality of design adding that they listened to the explanation about the Qatari publications.

He pointed out that the dignitaries were given a number of Qatari publications. He pointed out that the Qatari pavilion has received intensive turnout from the exhibition's visitors.
