The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs (Awqaf) is participating in the Algeria International Quran Memorization Competition, represented by Mohammed Abdullah Bleidah.
The contestant has already passed the initial test stage and qualified for second stage of the competition, which is hosted by Algeria's Capital Algiers during the period May 25-31. 50 countries are taking part in the Quranic contest.
This is the 16th edition of the competition.
The winner of the competition will receive a USD 10 thousand prize, while the runner up will receive USD 8 thousand and the third gets USD 5 thousand.
