The Qatar National Vision (QNV) 2030 has been in development since 2008. It aims to transform Qatar into a developed country capable of achieving sustainable development and securing a decent life for its current and future generations 12 years from now.

For more than 20 years, oil revenues have been invested optimally in the areas of education, health, infrastructures, and much more.

After highlighting the achievements and lessons learned from the First National Development Strategy (NDS1), the Second National Development Strategy (NDS2) has been developed, starting with the economic outlook of the State until 2022.

And since Qatar still has a long way to go after hosting the FIFA World Cup in 2022, the QNV 2030 concept was thought of and is now the State's main bird's eye view for what's in stored in the next decade to come.

The QNV 2030 will be focused on these four main pillars of sustainable development:

1. Economic Development
