In a tweet, The Qatar Motor & Motorcycle Federation (QMMF) announced that after the thorough investigation in the tragic incident that occurred to one of the spectators at the first day of Qatar International Rally (2nd round of the Middle East Rally Championship) occurred as a result of not abiding to the organizers' instructions in the rally stage.

In a statement the Federation noted that the person had entered the rally path for taking some footage of the competition and this had led to the accident. As per the statement, the person had been transferred to the Specialized Trauma Center and he is in a stable condition. It is monitoring the individual's status.
