HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani and HH Sheikha Mozah Nasser al-Misnad yesterday visited the Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Company. HH the Emir and HH Sheikha Mozah were accompanied by HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor al-Thani and a number of senior officials. During the visit, HH the Emir was briefed on the steps and phases of carying out a railway project in Qatar. The project aims to link Doha with other towns in Qatar as well as with Bahrain and other GCC states for transporting passengers and goods. – QNA
