The 16th Commercial Bank Qatar Masters continues to expand its family of partners with local brands Avis Qatar, Fifty One East, Xerox and Aspetar all confirming their support of the US$2.5 million prize fund European Tour event. Avis will once again fill the role of Official Tournament Transport Provider, Fifty One East is to continue for the 16th year as Audio Visual and IT Sponsor, Xerox is the tournament’s official Document Company, and new partner Aspetar joins the family as Medical Sponsor. “The strong on-going support of local sponsors guarantees that the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters continues to run smoothly year after year. All of our partners provide vital services that ensure players, organisers and spectators are greeted with first-class facilities,” said Commercial Bank Group CEO Andrew Stevens. Avis Qatar is an operating division of Avis Europe plc, the leading car rental company in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. Avis Country Manager Qatar Vijay Kumar comments on the company’s continued relationship with Qatar’s leading golf competition, “The Commercial Bank Qatar Masters has become an established and popular fixture on the sporting calendar, in Qatar and beyond. The international reputation of the event aligns perfectly with our business.” Fifty One East, Qatar’s iconic retail luxury destination and a division of Darwish Holding, has been the event’s exclusive IT and audio-visual sponsor since its inaugural edition in 1998. The high-end Qatari company will install top of the range Sony Audio Visual and IT products as well as Bang & Olufsen sound booths to provide the tournament’s spectators and VIP hospitality guests with impressive facilities.
