Labour ministry closes five recruitment offices for violations

In a tweet on 23 February 2022, the Ministry of Labour announced the closure of five labour recruitment offices for violating the decision regulating the conditions and procedures for licensing the recruitment of workers from abroad.

The Ministry confirmed the continuation of inspection campaigns that would preserve the rights of employers of domestic workers.

The Ministry recently closed and canceled licenses of 12 recruitment offices for violating the provisions of the law as part of the efforts of the Ministry to continuously monitor offices and to ensure the implementation of the decisions issued to preserve the rights of employers of domestic workers.

The Ministry of Labour has allocated direct means of communication to receive complaints from the public, including the hotline 40288101 and the e-mail [email protected]. It urged all citizens and residents to report any abuses or violations by the recruitment offices.
