Qatar and Kuwait have agreed to constitute a joint team comprising specialists from both the countries to formulate policies for executing a power purchase agreement. This was decided at a meeting the visiting Kuwaiti delegation had with Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) acting managing director Essa Hilal al Kuwari. The Kuwaiti team was led by the under-secretary of the ministry of electricity and water. The two delegations reviewed mutual co-operation in electricity and water sector for the interest of the two countries. The visit by the Kuwaiti delegation is in the framework of the relations between Qatar and Kuwait, a Kahramaa statement said.
