The Emiri Diwan yesterday announced holiday schedule for Eid al-Fitr. For ministries, government institutions and public entities, the Eid holiday begins from Wednesday, July 15, and ends on Thursday, July 23, with work resuming on Sunday, July 26, after the weekend break. For Qatar Central Bank (QCB), commercial banks, QCB-supervised financial institutions and Qatar Financial Markets Authority (QFMA), the QCB governor will determine the start and end dates of the holiday.
