Bank holiday HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani has endorsed the cabinet decision No. 33 of 2009, considering the first Sunday of March every year an official holiday to Qatar Central Bank (QCB), other banks and the financial institutions operating under the control of the QCB , Qatar Financial Markets Authority (QFMA) and Qatar Securities Company (QSC).
